We process personal information on behalf of, and as directed by, our customers (the organizations that operate those gates); Invisible Witness provides the technical mechanism through which those customers collect, use, and disclose personal information for the purpose of access management. By providing your personal information to us, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

Our customers are the organizations that operate the gates you are authorized to use. With respect to your access information, each such customer is the organization responsible for it, and Invisible Witness provides the technical mechanism through which the customer collects, uses, and discloses it for access management; we process it on the customer’s behalf and on its instructions. Sharing your information with a customer for access management is therefore a disclosure to the responsible organization, not a sale or transfer to an unrelated third party. Customers and their authorized administrators may use your personal information solely for access management and are not permitted to disclose it outside their organization or to sell, rent, or trade it.
We retain personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law, considering the nature of the information, the purposes for which it is held, legal and contractual requirements, and audit and dispute-resolution needs. When no longer required, information is securely destroyed or anonymized.
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction, including role-based access controls and authentication, encryption of data in transit and at rest where appropriate, regular security assessments, and incident-response procedures. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; in the event of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and relevant authorities as required by law.
Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information; withdraw consent; restrict or object to processing; and receive your information in a portable format. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details in Section 11. We will respond within the period required by law and may ask you to verify your identity first. Note that much of the access data is held on behalf of our customers, and some requests may be directed to the customer that authorized your access.
